Product design involves designing digital products while taking into account user needs, business objectives and technical constraints.
It's not a question of taste or aesthetics: it's an impact-oriented approach. Good design improves user experience and product performance.
It's a hybrid job, combining research, prototyping, testing, interface design and collaboration with product and tech teams.

Product designers don't spend their days making models. They observe, question, formalize, test and collaborate with product, tech and business teams.
Each week is punctuated by time for exploration, creation, feedback... and, above all, the search for useful solutions.

First, we set the context by analyzing the market, business objectives and usage data, in order to identify recurring problems and opportunities. This exploratory phase, conducted in conjunction with product and business teams, enables us to fully understand user issues, as well as measure the impact on the business.

Once the data has been collected, it is organized and analyzed to formulate a precise problem. Success metrics are associated with them to validate, at the end of the process, that the objectives have been achieved.

Once the problem has been defined, we get together to organize ideation workshops. The aim is to generate concepts that can respond to the problem. The most relevant of these are then translated into mock-ups, so that a clear direction can be chosen.

The prototype is tested with users to get their feedback. This allows us to identify areas for improvement and iterate on the interface until the final version is delivered to the developers. Once released, the feature's impact will be measured using the metrics defined earlier, to assess its actual performance and refine it if necessary.

The profession of product designer is based on a balance between technical and human skills. If you come from a different professional background, you probably already possess some of these.
The aim is not to be "creative" or "good with tools", but to be able to solve problems in a structured way, with empathy and clarity.
Managing interviews, analyzing needs, formulating insights
Designing fluid, user-centered paths
Create clear, accessible, consistent interfaces.
Test solutions quickly to learn and iterate
Asking the right questions, challenging the status quo
Share ideas, explain choices, listen actively.
Working with product, tech, business... without silos
Explore, understand, open up to new ideas.
Don't panic: we've created a series of easy-to-follow step-by-step videos to teach you how.
Free access to Figma Basics

You know how to give shape to ideas, work with visual constraints, and convey an emotion or message through images.
Your eye for detail and consistency is a real asset when it comes to designing durable and effective interfaces.

You know the target, you know how to tell a story, create an experience.
You're already working with interfaces, itineraries, data... You're closer to the business than you think.

You're familiar with technical constraints, you're used to working in project mode, and you know how to build concrete solutions.
Design is a different way of solving problems.

You know how to frame a need, coordinate expertise, and follow an objective.
You're used to bridging the gap between several stakeholders - a key reflex for product design.

Product design is a hybrid profession. Whatever your background, if you're curious, like to solve problems, understand people and work in a team - you're probably in the right place.
You can build a solid profile, and your singular outlook becomes an asset.
Every year, hundreds of people switch to product design. It's not by chance: it's a profession where you give meaning to what you do, where you collaborate, where you learn continuously... and where the job opportunities are real.
The aim is not to be "creative" or "good with tools", but to be able to solve problems in a structured way, with empathy and clarity.
You work to solve real problems, based on concrete needs.
Companies are actively looking for skilled product designers.
Your decisions have a direct effect on the user experience and the results you produce.
You'll make rapid progress, working with multidisciplinary teams.
