For the past 1.5 years, we’ve been working hand in hand with Bpifrance to enhance the user experience of their investment platform, Bpifrance Entreprises 3 — transforming it into a robust product for individual investors.
After the success of the private equity fund launched in 2023, Bpifrance has decided to invest more resources to turn a basic “proof of concept” into a full-fledged product.
BE3 is an investment fund allowing individuals to invest in growing French and European businesses while supporting the real economy.

From POC to MVP and more
The subscription journey was fully digital — but complex and unintuitive. We reworked the entire flow to make it smoother and more accessible, especially for less experienced investors.
Clearer information architecture, better fund visibility, and a stronger emphasis on transparency helped reinforce trust at every step. The new platform makes it easy for individuals to subscribe to new offerings and keep track of their investments.


Designing for scale and consistency
We embedded the product into Bpifrance’s Design System to ensure long-term consistency across their digital ecosystem — while extending it where necessary to meet specific use cases.
Key user journeys were fully mapped and refined to reduce friction and drive conversion. Special attention was given to responsiveness, making the experience seamless across desktop and mobile.
Listening before building
We combined qualitative interviews with quantitative analytics to gain a deep understanding of user needs and frictions.
From uncovering the expectations of first-time investors to identifying key drop-off points in the subscription flow, these insights helped shape a product that speaks to both trust and usability.

Future-ready foundations
Rather than focusing on fast-paced iterations, the project advanced through carefully planned phases, each validation with stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with Bpifrance’s standards.
This structured approach allowed the teams to progressively mature the platform, securing both reliability and scalability.
By setting a solid foundation, Bpifrance is now positioned to expand its product offering and evolve the platform with confidence over the long term.
