Clarifying the promise, aligning it with the experience.
We defined the product positioning and crafted the right experience. Outgoing is primarily built for city lovers, helping them discover the best places and events around them.
The map UI enables instant exploration and easy navigation, while lists and cards immerse users in each scene without losing the bigger picture. Finally, users can turn to the AI concierge for ultra-personalized recommendations.

Guide people to find their “best.”
A big part of the experience is helping users save recommendations and places they discover along the way.
Multiple iterations of the Save feature and lists introduced a fresh way to access and share a growing catalogue of unique finds.
We combined familiar navigation patterns with AI to make the experience feel seamless and intuitive.

Not just an app, a planning companion
Outgoing’s intelligence lets users interact directly with a personified concierge through a chat-based interface.
In the “My Plans” experience, we enhanced access to saved items with a smart yet simple timeline approach.
Keep the party going with multi-stop outings.
One key idea from the start was to help people build richer plans to share with friends — enjoying not just the main event, but also the coffee before or the dinner after.
We designed a system that lets users turn a single activity into a multi-step outing in just a few taps, with a clear, visual overview to get everyone excited. Additional social features like notes and voting can further enrich the experience over time.

Developing a vibrant brand that inspires city explorers.
Embrace every bit of city life—from melodic concerts to sports events, cultural surprises to nature walks, wild nights out to kids’ drawing sessions.
The brand we created embodies this diversity and energy, using warm colors to energize every step of the way, while maintaining a modern, cultural touch highlighted by Outgoing’s signature blue.

A symbol crafted as an open door to new experiences.
Every day, people can choose to open a door to optimism and new discoveries. This is the idea behind the portal shape in the logo and key app elements.
We built on this concept and its strong visual presence to highlight imagery, create a unique and friendly dynamism, and gently nudge users to explore with curiosity.
